Applying patches
- /usr/sbin/shutdown -h now
- boot -fl s
- /sbin/checkrc
- /sbin/update
- /sbin/swapon -a
- /sbin/lsmbstartup
- /usr/OSFpatch_kit/dupatch
- select option 2 then patches required e.g. 1-107 129-140
- recompile kernel - doconfig -c /usr/sys/SERVERNAME
- copy kernel in to place and reboot
- check with setld -i
