Updating Kernel Tuning Parameters - Solaris 10
/etc/system has been superceeded by projects with Solaris 10 for kernel tuning parameters.
1. su to the user that requires the kernel parameter change, e.g. su - oracle 2. **id -p** to check the project info 3. su to root 4. update the kernel parameter. e.g. projmod -s -K 'project.max-semids=(privileged,1024,deny)' user.oracle 5. su - oracle 6. check using **prctl $$**
